Alright guys, correct me if I'm wrong, i'm looking to throw together a custom turbo setup on my SOHC 98 civic ex. Is that d16y7 or y8? Any way, is the 14b a good choice along with the hf manifold off of a crx? I'm confused about whether or not I need an adapter plate or not? Is that something that a company sells? Also, do i need a custom down pipe? What else do i need that needs to be custom fabricated?

first off, you have a D16Y8..next yah u need a adapter plate in order to bolt on the 14b.. and any muffler shop can make a downpipe..any machine shop or auto fabricator can make the adapter plate..go to one of those V8 chassis guys.

 

i sugest making the adapter plate yourself or buying one on ebay or someone off here.
cause machine shops will charge u alot for that.
