Default 94Integra B18b T3/T04E Most parts installed need EXPERIENCED help now

Here are a few pictures of our install so far, with the temporary IC pipes run, manifold and turbo positioned oil lines headed in the right directions..questions to follow.

Here is a picture I faded so you could see the IC pipes and full Spearco cooler

IC from turbo IC pipes back up to Intake

Turbo and mani on, minus wastegate pending elbow.

Now for the questions.
1) Where does the hose right on the compressor go to?

2)Where does the hole on the top of this waste gate get routed and the one on the side...I know where the exhaust goes...but the side and top small hole..

3)Where does the opening on the top of this BOV route to?

4)I have a FMU FPR and 255lph fuel pump, and SafcII will all of these components work together? Or at 8psi can I do without somthing here?

If any of you are well experienced with all or certain aspects of these parts then leave me your telephone number PLEASE, I will call you instead of posting so much...

I especially wanted to talk to GHETTOTURBO....and ABAZ.

Thanks,

Eric Rosado

Well, you dont really need a FMU since you have a SAFC hack, but get some DSM Injectors. Stock LS injectors are rated at 240cc while the DSM are 440cc alot more flow. Or since you are going to boost 8 psi then use the FMU and keep the stock injectors, but dont boost more than 8 psi on the FMU and stock injectors. You can boost 10-12 psi on DSM injectors and SAFC and tunning. Now for the nipple in the turbo housing usually it goes on the wastegate, I think, But I'm pretty sure; as far as the other vaccum source I'm clueless sorry. Good looking car, its coming very nice!!!!!

I need to know how to run the tees and such. I know there are a bunch of experts here I have read their posts. I just hope its not too much trouble to squeeze the info out of them.

so how to run the boost lines, and then what fuel setup, and Im ready to roll.

you just need to hook the wastegate and bov to a vacuum source. same place as boost gauge if you want.

OK, so can I tee the BOV between the PCV connection on the intake mani to the valve cover? and my boost gauge as well?if not then let me know where.

Also, since the waste gate needs a boost source, then cant i run the tube on the compressor housing of the turbo right to the side of the waste gate?

dude you dropped a lot of cash on that ic, manifold, wastegate and turbo .. why use an fmu?? at least use a afc and larger injectors or get a standalone, you will be much happier.

the boost gauge, wastegate and bov all need to read the pressure in the intake manifold, just tap into it somewhere or tee into one of the lines on it.

I would personally tap a new hole but it dosent matter as long as nothing is coming thru the line you tap into.. ie egr or something.

answer both of these together, you will route that line coming off the compressor housing to the hole in the wastegate that is in the middle (not the top end plug) just leave the top plug open. Here is a thread kind of explaining how the top port would be used, basically if you had a EBC

3)Where does the opening on the top of this BOV route to?

Not your valve cover, any spot off the intake manifold (after the throttle body) lots of people tap into the PCV valve, brake booster, FPR line, whatever.

4)I have a FMU FPR and 255lph fuel pump, and SafcII will all of these components work together? Or at 8psi can I do without somthing here?

Your better off ditching the FMU, and getting a set of DSM 450cc injectors and using your AFC to control them, but other than that your setup looks great man.. good luck, and take some more pics of the entire setup, and I would like to host it on the site for you.

Ok cool, so I need to ditch the DSM 310cc's and get 450cc's...check

ditch the FMU and just use my S-AFC2...check

Route the BOV inline with the PCV...check

side hole of waste gate connects with hose from compressor housing...check

top hole on wastegate only for use with boost controller like HKS EVC....check

New questions

1) Can I use my aftermarket FPR then still even if im not using the FMU?

2) Will I still be able to use the 255lph intank fuel pump or should I not?

3) Should I my Greddy profec e-01 boostcontroller unit with the greddy emanage, or will my S-AFC2 and HKS EVC controller work fine?

I already have too many components I can tell..now just to figure what to keep or add. I have a new laptop for the car too....lol. Also, I can give you as many pictures as you want to put it on the site because we took apart what you see in the pictures to put it back to stock so we could drive, accept the IC. For real though with your help I will put together the most indepth install for you all.

The only thing that hasn't been covered or mentioned so far... that is a Spark/OBX/Meng/etc manifold, which is known for cracking due to vibration and load. You MUST support the turbo's weight with some bracing to prevent this. You MUST support the wastegate's weight with some bracing to prevent this. Once you do that, it is a decent manifold.

Good luck with it.
