same thing as the old saab transmissions. driveshaft went through the oilpan and the flywheel was up front

 

gay dodge interpids do that ---- but it does make changing belts alot easier

 

Can't wait to see your numbers I know you've been waiting on mine but I'll hit you up with those soon. Early in January I'll be doing the full tune of the AEM and turning it up to 1bar. I just finished the turbo and LSD (welded) on my S13 and it's ready for the new season so now all my energy is back on the Leg. I won't attempt the redesign till later in '09 (so I can slam the car the way it should be) but just to give you the heads up you'll be doing my new turbo manifolds

Thanks, though it is a modified step up from the Type II in progress (TII heads not going on till I blow the HG) but it does have cams that are a little more aggressive than the TII's (may have to go, we'll see) and a TII intake manifold and valve springs, but the bottom end is and will stay 3.5 (has a little more TQ kick) I have also made arrangements to pick up a phantom grip to help handle this to be new found power. I prefer teh 5 over the 6 though too for this particular build because it has more aggressive gearing.

 

you do anything for headgaskets? Thats a common issue with those engines in stock form..

 

Indeed it is and not yet as right now I have the RL heads on ther BHG free for now, but once they go I have a set of TII heads on standby that I am going to port out and either o-ring them or the block. The C32 is more prone to BHG than the C35 but the added benefit of o-ringing should (and has on teh C32) support 600hp which is a little more than what I am aiming for. At the time of teh head swap I will also add ARP headstuds.

Another pic since I am redoing the down pipe routing and figured a way to route the radiator hose less the 90 I need for the lower inlet. Sorry it is a slow build.
