Hello all. I'm a new member with maybe not a new question.

I have an 87 Volvo 760 with a 2.3L engine. It has a MIT TD05-12B turbo in it that blew. I removed the turbo by undoing the band clamp from the exhaust side to save myself some headaches with the exhaust. I have been trying to locate a new cartridge and not having very much success. I have learned that these are not very strong turbos. I'm not looking for major boost. Just respectable boost and good fuel mileage.

My question is this.
Can I upgrade this turbo with little to no exhaust manifold change. I understand I will need to change or machine the Compressor side.

If not, Does anyone know where I can find a new cartridge for this model.
I have found the cartridge model #: 49178-08030
