87 crx turbo build

hey this is my first post i am turboing my 87 crx si. i have lots of pics. i have some q's for you guys what should i use for charge tubing i want to use the nylon like that other crx on here i dont want to use pvc what do you guys think? i have no intercooler or fmu i do have bigger injectors out of a 91 crx si dont no if they are better than my stock ones. i just bought the hks ssqv man it is cool but it cost more than i paid for my car and parts car togeather. i am only going to run 7 psi i think that is stock gate setting it is a kk03 turbo i have 2 of them i got for 50 bucks like new and lots of other honda parts. tell me what you guys think this is my firs turbo project so far it is good i have only spent like 600 on it so far.

It is really easy to make it obd0, then if you want to change it to obd1. Wb is a wideband you will needed it to tune :y.

Re: 87 crx turbo build

crx si injectors are tah same like all civic / integra injectors 240cc get some bigger ones and get a tune on crome or something or if you dont want to convert to obd1 get turbo edit or uber data whatever is there from obd zero cars

btw love the top mount.. you should of brought the turbo up higher up so it will be on TOP

Re: 87 crx turbo build

if you have acess to a low ratio fmu.. like 2.5:1 or 2.0:1 range (not taht ebay ---- 8:1 /12:1) all u need is to go to the junk yard and pull some mazda rx7 non turbo injectors they is 460cc u can actually google the part number on the injector as some of them are low and high impadence.. some 12ohms some 3 or 5.. so drop them in wiht a risistor is needed.. and get ur self a fule pressur regulator and drop your fuel pressure to like 15 or 18 psi and it should idel real good and then when u boost the fmu will take over byu increasing the fuel pressure by 2.5 psi for ever 1 psi of boost pressure and you should have enough fuel but make shure you have a wide band before playing wioht boost.. at lease a gay narrow band keep it on the full rich side at all times.. it should wokr i was gonna do it i have a 2.3:1 fmu form a supercahrger kit wiht a graph and everying for it and i ever got some of them rx7 injectors .. let me know if intereested..
