Default 87 crx si turbo problem

i got a 87 crx si, dx manifold welded to a garrett t3 from a saab, oil feed and dump done, i have piping from turbo strait to intake manifold ( no intercooler)... downpipe to stock exhaust...external 38mm wategate with 5lb spring. stock injectors and fuel pump... now this is the problem when i take off it sputters (breaks up) after 4k rpm it cleans up a little and boosts pretty good.... i got no fmu on it.... can that b the problem, i kno thats a stupid question but i just ordered it and ran it without to see wit it does.... any help would be appreciated.....

if you add boost you need to add fuel. if you continue to drive the vehicle you are going to melt the pistons. without a tune your boost build is not finished.

fyi: an fmu is not a tune. its a shitty way of exponentially adding fuel to a boosted engine. its not precise and reliable enough to supply fuel to a boosted engine.
