Default 83 nissan Pulsar turbo question

i tried to seperate the exhaust and intake housing apart to check the bearing but cant seem to take the exhaust ****** off. I took off the snap ring with Snap on finest snap ring pliers and i also removed the wastegate but still cant get the exhaust side off. any suggestions.

Those bastards are really on there and the crud and rust don't help. Even with all the bolts out, it's still a bitch and a half to get it apart. I put mine in a 6" vise and whacked it with a mini bfh while pulling it with a pair of vicegrips locked on. I also soaked it in PB Blaster for like 30 minutes before hand.

bash it harder! put it in the oven at 500 degrees for 3 hours. take it out and hit it with a hammer. metal expands when it is hot.
