Hey Guys,
I found one of these on the internet for sale and I wondering what the specifications are on it? I don't even have a picture of one.

The turbo supposedly came from a 84-86 Pontiac Sunbird GT 1.8L. As far as I understand it is a oil and water cooled turbo, but I cannot find any a/r specifications on it. Also I am wondering what range of PSI it can handle.

Need more info if possible or someone with experience with them.

 

use it and then tell us how disappointed you are because it doesn't boost when you are at the high rpm's

 

I've got one here from an 88-90 Sunbird GT and it's got a .49 a/r on the hot side and a .48 a/r on the cold side.. It was on a 2.0 liter engine tho. Not sure if they changed on these years..

 

aha 2 liter...low boost and what was the rev limiter?
displacement plays a role, but the most important is how much does the head flow?? probably the B16 flows more then that head. a D-series..wouldn't know maybe about the same.
