800 or less? Junkyard build

I've heard this can be done for 600 or less but I don;t want to go too cheap. Basically I would like to run 8-9lb if possible om stock internals. Obviously I'll be running excessive fuel but what else should I do to prep for this setup? I'm new to the boosted world but I would like to know more. Help me out. What kind of a list should I have. Thanks

Werd.

My fuel mgmt represents about %40 of the cost of my setup.

If I need it, it makes sense, and I can get a Jew deal, I buy it.

if you are going all out cheap then the only decent managment is the 450's and AFC hack but if you spend too much on management and have 2 bucks left for piping and a turbo then you will not be too pleased. I say jsut go with the decent management instead of the low end FMU setup if you can aviod it. You might have to get a SMC+ to save money for a decent turbo and and intercooler etc... and maybe switch to an afc when you have the money or want to spend it.

What is AFC and all that other alien language? I'm an all motor junky turning to the dark side if you know what I mean. Basically can you make this as simple as possible. What do I need as far as individual parts.

could you go into that for me? I was thinking that's what a cheap "turbo" could run me for beginners, but I wanted to know exactly where to show the money muscle and where not too as much..what is this feul management problem BTW? Pumps, cams, and injectors? I would love to find out!

Nah, we dont sell kits here at HMT. Maybe once in awhile I will throw one together and post it in the classifieds but thats about it. Rememeber that lots of time/labor goes into these. And I always seem to find good deals, so that keeps my costs low. The area you really want to spend money is in fuel/spark management. Read our Engine management forum for more info.
