Default 600cc bandit Turbo?

My friend wants to turbo his bike. It's a 600cc bandit. What would be a good size turbo for this bike? I was thinking a Rhb5, but that might even be too big. Just wondering...

Thanks.

Boost leaks are evil, they destroy turbos.

use a vf10 rbhf, like the ones off of an old GL wagon or something. that'll do the job. or even a 9b off of a 3000gt vr4 or dodge stealth

a t25 off a twin turbo 300zx might work, it'd designed for half of the 300zx engine, it uses 2 of those. the engines 3000cc so half is 1500cc. it might work, plus remember guys, that bike will redline at 12000 rpm i think.

very true, nothing worse than hearing the turbo spool up, but not seeing any boost :P

Is it ok to use a watercooled turbo when it's not hooked up? It's a 2000 bandit with open frame so there's no radiator or coolant... just air cooled.

also,

should he just cut the stock header and weld up that, or have one custom built? It would be so expensive to have one custom built.. I personally would weld it myself.

EDIT: Nevermind that dumb question I asked about watercooling...
