Default is .60.63 too big for a Z6

how`s spool time compare to .48/60 in a Z6?..any of you guys tried?..
coz i a actually got a .48/60 on hand but then it looks like i will need a lot more boost then i expected to hit 250 + whp.. (12 + )
will a .60.63 fits in more? .

I'm gonna say go with the 48/60, unless your drag racing the car only.

Go for the big one
I'm going T3/T4E 57 trim....AR turbine .48
Just cause I practically got a 42/48 turbo and am going to get a T04E 57 trim housing, wheel, etc... and slap it on

I got one of those babys in the closet waiting to be installed(60-63) on the crx. waiting for the intercooler to arrive. I dont think its too big. I think it all depends the overall horsepower goal you have.

I have a T3 60 trim .60/.48 and I think it's a perfect turbo for my Z6. It spools pretty well also(full 9-10 psi a little over 4k). If I turned the boost up to 13-14 psi I could get 250whp out of it easy. Your turbo should work fine so why don't you just turn the boost up more?

thats great you have a housing a/r your shooting for but without knowing the wheel stage on the turbine side or the wheel trim on the compressor side its like throwing darts blindfolded.

so let me get this right. you have a to3

with a 50 trim .60 a/r housing on the compressor side and a stage 3 turbine with a .63 a/r. dude that turbine is to big for a z6 1.6 l unless your revving to 8000+ rpm. id go with a .48 turbine housing with that stage 3 turbine wheel.Who speced your turbo ? a stage 1 turbine with a .63 would have worked better.
