who cares? it would be cool, do it. if no one has done it you will be the first and that in its self is worth it...

Re:4g63 turbo engine into a 4g civic hb...can it be done...

Yeah do it, thats pretty orignal, just go get some metal and a welder and some duct tape, and just wiggle everything around until it fits just right. It can be done. I have never seen it(but I would like to). I myself would like to swap an S2000 motor into my crx and put the comptech supercharger on it. But it will be years before I will ever see it, but its one of my goals.

i know it would be some work...i think i am going to purchase a 4g crx or civic hb and try to make it fit....it would be bad ass...just look at those older mirage hatches...they haul ass.....but i can do it.....just need the time and money....but money wont be to much of a problem just time....and time is money...but anyways it would be cool....

Re:4g63 turbo engine into a 4g civic hb...can it be done...

that would be pretty dope if you pulled it off..... my friend wanted to put a an H22 into his old eclipse.... i dont know why he would do that... damn car weighs like 3000lbs.... but that would be dope to put the 4G63 on a hatch.... i used to have one... those engines haul ass....
especially with all those tricks you can do with it...

go for it.... play mad scientist....

I would seriously work with a H series or B series before I would go about putting a 4g63 in a honda. Massive wiring issues, unless you had a wrecked dsm with a front clip in tact. Custom axles, custom hubs.. the works.

Brax:

Looks like you're the perfect tuner..

Had "technical" issues with Ghettodyne, yet you think you can just drag and drop any ole engine into any car..

Bah.. build a single cam from scratch, bust out a consistant 11 second time, and then move on from there..

Re:4g63 turbo engine into a 4g civic hb...can it be done...

i don't know if the car would still be able to function as a daily driver that's a pretty heavy engine but that's a lot more power from a stock engine. I know a kid who pushes 17psi out of his first gen talon and that thing's pretty quik imagine that in a car 1000 pounds lighter. to much work for me though.

Re:4g63 turbo engine into a 4g civic hb...can it be done...

dude it would be nice though...i would be a fast mutha fucka....damn it would be fun...i know it could never happen, well may be it could....anything can happen in the world of motors...but a awd 4g civic hb with a 4g63 engine with 17psi......whooooosh!!!....you could rape just about any car u wanted too..

i heard of this swap, actually... i forgot where but someone said that he knew a guy who made a CRX with a DSM AWD drivetrain swapped in... (holy ----!) :o\

i think it would be a great idea for a swap. you'll learn tons. ;D

Thats nothing a huge ass induction hood couldnt take care off. That would be the least of my worries, ---- what about wiring? axles? shift linkage? motor mounts? Blah

He's already posted that link.
