i cant seem to find any flanges for the compressor on this turbo. i know that weirracing used to sell them, but he no longer does any cnc parts. anybody know where i can find flanges for both the inlet and outlet?

Would it be too small? Well, I have the flange that came with my tial wg laying around. I measured it.. from bolt hole to hole it's 2 3/4" and the center hole is 1 3/8 dia. hope this helps.

Haha I just measure my wg and got the same exact dimensions, I thought that you measured your turbo, not a wg. ---- I thought we found a solution. I run the exact same turbo and just used both stock pieces to connect to the compressor housing. I found them on ebay; right now I don't see any on there though. Measure the opening and bolt distances on your turbo and compare to the wastegate flange.

Got the same housing I have the stock inlet but the outlet I was just going to grind it down so it was round and just use a coupler ;) I have a tial flange I'll have to hold it up and see, I'll post up pics later

if the hole in the WG flange was a legit 38mm, it would work. i set a 35mm flange on it and the bolt holes are the same, but the hole is just a little too small.

time to get the dremel out, if the bolts are the same you can expand the center whole, thats awesome

the only thing, that with the hole being to small, the material that overlaps on the side that you would need for a gasket would be toon thin with the 35mm WG. the WG flange is thinner that the width of the outlet flange. i would need38mm flange measurements to see if it would work. i dont even know if it would be any wider

this is what i mean. the sides of the gasket are thinner than the flange

Um use some rtv or even JBweld i think there is plenty of coverage there or uhm get the gasket for the turbo and not the wastegate :S

that still wont make up for the flange being thinner. you can use as big of gasket as you want, but if there is no flange to hold it in place, it wont do anything...

----, ill just hit ebay to try and find the correct flange or factory outlet...

Why not just make a gasket? I'm almost positive any automotive store sells the gasket "paper" in square sheets, just pick that up, and use a ball pein hammer (the rounded end) and just lay the gasket on the inlet surface, tap the hammer on the edges and it will cut the paper and make a perfect gasket. :6

the gasket isnt the problem. the thread title was not ".48/.60 gaskets" it is the flange that im asking about. the first posts says that clearly

Re: .48/.60 flanges

OR, you could just do what i did and take a grinder to the outlet, and just make it round. it ends up fitting a 2.5 inch coupler pretty well. then you don't gotta worry about some janky ass gasket. ^-^

Gotcha now I though you were worried about the gasket size, the flange should be fine, how thick are the sides on BOV flanges and they hold up to high boost, I looked at mine today i just need to expand the bolt holes a littl but I can going to run mine like this since I have it and it works ;)

I have an alum flange for the outlet if you want it pm me

Re: .48/.60 flanges

Yep,

35 mm WG flange for the outlet

and for the inlet, a very generic 5$ exhaust flange from Midas or any other muffler shop fits it directly.
