Default .42 T3 on a Y8

Will this turbo die out on top end? Will be running at 11.8 psi on a d16y8

I;m looking for a replacement turbo for my t3/t4 (blown seals and spool is pretty slow), and someone on the boards has one for sale

its going to spool incredibly fast on a Y8, I just recently took a .42/.48 off my ZC because it was just dying out so bad at the top end. You may want to keep looking for a different unit before you slap that turbo on.

depends on your driving.
that turbo will be great for the streets. quick spool and quick power.
if you do more top end driving like on the freeway or go to the track, you will want a bigger snail.
