Default .42/.48 T3 question

I have an internally stock '95 integra. ssautoshit manifold that will be braced, a 2.5" downpipe made and I will probably be buying a 38mm tial wastegate. I have a Garret/AirResearch .42/.48 T3 and I was wondering, I was hoping to crack into the 12's on full slicks and race gas with the boost cranked. (I'll be running Crome, with wideband of course,Dsm 450's, and probably an ebay intercooler with some 2.5" charge piping, possibly even devilsown alky injection so i can crank the timing alittle.) Is .42/.48 ok? I'll be looking for anywhere between 15-20 psi at the most, at the track. On an everyday basis i'll probably be running only 10 psi. Should I upgrade the turbo, how would I go about doing that? I searched alot but I don't really know what to search for. I'd like to upgrade myself but i'm not sure if thats possible. I tried doing the calculations that are in the sticky but I guess my ------ ADHD kicked in and I couldn't do the math.

Yeah, I was afraid of that..I bought the turbo refurbished, never used for $60 though. So, its not that big of a ---- up. Maybe i'll sell it and use the money for a SC61 or some ----.
edit: should I even bother running this turbo, or should I just get a different one?

what motor are you running in the 95 Integra?
You see, I have a 95 Integra also I doubt anyone is running my motor.
Anyway, that turbo will be small for a B18*
If you had to run a T3, go for a .60/.63. Otherwise look for a T3/T4.

..internally stock LS, and in reply to jago..should I doubt a senior HMT member, or argue with him? I asked the question and he answered it.
So uh...anyone want to buy or trade a .42/.48 T3 rebuilt never used?(since rebuild)

Yeah..went there. I'm not afraid to say that I got confused half way through and gave up. But anyway..I'll probably use the turbo for alittle while and then upgrade.

Well I'll give you some non-formula math of sorts. Thats a 45 trim T3. The hotside is probably a stage 1, as 99.9% of these turbos were stage 1 OEM turbos.

A friend had a 1st gen b16a tuned on uber, 60trim T3, .60/.63 AR's, stage 1 wheel. 10psi got him about 250whp. FYI the 60 trim flows 36 lbs/min, and the 45 trim flows 21 lbs/min Alky would help get maybe 300whp, as it would kinda extend the turbo's effeciency a bit. The problem is nothing will help you past 6500, as thats below 60% eff. Volvos are something like 2.5L, and they run them, but you'd be MUCH better off with a larger turbo.

What I would suggest is sending the turbo in to Garrett to get modified. For the price of a small ssauto turbo, they could make it into a t3/t04b, t3/t04e, etc. Otherwise sell it on ebay, as these turbos fetch ~$100 in okay shape, and more if very clean/rebuilt. Then buy anything bigger than a super60 T3.

Like I said I'll probably run this turbo for alittle while, either sell the car or upgrade the whole manifold/turbo/downpipe setup to better ----.
