Default .40" over too much on stock sleeves??

im buying my vitara's today for the built D and one guy that sells them cheap only has them in std bore and .40" over. is that too big for the already thin d series cylinder walls??

yes the cylinder walls would be very thin nothing i would want to be boosted on

vitaras are hard to use cuz u need a decent block to start with
its eitehr .40 over or none over

I really hope you mean .040" which is 1mm over, making the pistons 76mm. That'll be fine.

you can get them in .020" over, they were just more expensive. but thats what im getting, my block is decent, but i heard stock size vitaras in stock bores makes a clang like a diesel??

they are a bit nosiey on cold start up but nothing rediculous

it be like a after market rod and piston setup



.40 over is way too much for boost unless you want to crack your sleeves but hey your block not mine
