I have one of those in a 2.5" elbow from my compressor to my charge pipe. its held 11lbs solid. but im back down to 7 now for daily use. and i didnt have to pay an arm and a left nut to go with a samco or turbo company one.

why would you go more than 2" for your charge piping anyway? 2" is more than enough for ~300whp

it should work pretty well. i have an obx one on my setup and it holds fine at 12lbs. it came in really handy for that first 90 degree bend off the turbo.
