Go out and measure how much room there is. And I'm pretty sure that its not that hard to fit a 3 inch downpipe in there.

No. I used the 3.5 that I had laying around from another project. The 3.5 fit prefectly on a 5 bolt flange where a 4 inch wouldn't fit and would need a flare. Also the ground clearance would be a bitch for 4 inch. I even had to oval mine a little bit for better clearance.

That pipe in the backround is 2.5

I just installed new AZ race mounts on my EF and a Jimfab. Looks like that it will fit a 3in fairly easily, but what do I know, Ill be test fitting this friday... (no school!)

i have a zc(d-series) and 2.5 down pipe(and to make it fit the guy had to cut part off the cross member)

for those of you who had a DP in your b series EF...

did you have to buy a Z10 crossmember or anything? I really dont want to have to do that, but it seems the only way I am getting a downpipe in there is by putting the turbine side on teh passenger side ( so the dp goes where teh stock header flows through)...any solutions besides cutting the x-member or buying a Z10?
