If you take a look at most of the GN's makeing that much power there not useign stock parts. But there's no shortage of parts for those though.

I have a buddy with a 2003 Chevy Impala that has a Supercharged 3800 short block (L67) with a N/A intake on it and a 62mm Turbonetics turbo. It runs mid 11's in the 1/4 mile and is daily driven. It was just dynoed at nearly 500whp and that's on the STOCK short block.

Wouldn't surprise me. What tranny is he running? That's the major weak link in these FWD setups. Post some pictures. L36 intake setup? I'm going to guess he's running the RWD L36 LIM/UIM since it points the TB towards the pass side?

heheheheheheh

----!!!! guys.... i just hit boost for the first time.... 8psi *PSSSST* *POP* then turbo spools but no power
blew a hose... but holy ---- i was laying down some stupid power id say close to 220rwhp on a 1 bar map sensor and not tuned, it runs really good can drive it easily without hitting boost, i like the way it drives and i cant wait till its running properly, but it was a success, we boosted past my mate, then *pop* came back with a bumper hanging off as i mis judged the kerb when i turned around.. but yeah hit 8psi so far and its laying down STUPID POWER

Only an estimate of 220 whp @ 8 psi?

Those older 3.8's not as healthy as the newer ones? They're supposed to be ~190 whp...
