Default 305 turbo

my friend's turbo v8 chevvy pulls really well....but not as good as one might think, when he goes to put his foot down, it hesates. before we went out the other night we sprayed the distributor cap with water to see if it was a shitty wire that was causing the hesatation and the entirer cap was arking! So do you think a new cap and new wires would solve this problem?

Yeah it might be the cap or wires. is it carb or fi cuz your card could just need tweeked alittle. I would just try new wires and cap and hope it works fine

you sure its not just lag? Also you might be running too rich and it could be a fuel bog. Many possibilities
