2nd gen dsm bov

how do you install one of these in an aluminum intake? would it work off an extra nipple? this is one part i have yet to understand about turbocharging. i know what it's purpose is which is why i bought it but, installing it seems kind of tricky.

am i right to state this is a plastic BOV with a 1 1/2 inch inlet. If so you must somehow weld on a 1 1/2 inch pipe stub/nipple to your charge pipe or to the intercooler and clamp the bov with a hose to the stub

I have one of these... and i installed it on the stock 94 civic EX rubber intake pipe...no major madifications needed.... just a dremel or a utility knife to cut out a rubber peice.. and tha flange is already made... and just the perfect size..

check out this link... it has more info... on how i modified my BOV... i already tested it and its ------- loud....

just drill it out... and drop in the BOV... and put a clamp on it and your good to go...

i didn't even have to drill it out. it fit perfect. just clamped it and it is tight.
