28X9X3 Intercooler a bit too tall for EG6?

I'm actually having trouble with the car overheating on hot days because the engine bay doesn't get enough air.
I can beat on the car at night and it's fine, but during the day it overheats. I blame the crappy EG halfrad and the fact that the intercooler blocks most of it.
Buy a bigger fan. Don't buy these ----- 12" fans. They suck. Buy a manly 14" fan. You may need to trim off a LITTLE extra material off the fan, but it will fit. It will also flow a lot more air which will help quite a bit. 14" fans are $50 off ebay. Just do a little searching and find the one that flows the most air.

the bar and plate looks tight, and last long without the fins bending. and the intercooler sprayer looks cool, draws attention wihich aint too crazy about anymore. some ricers dont want to race me because they think its all that makes my power.

I'll bet you $5 the fan rectifies your problem assuming you don't have a fucked up coolant system(---- radiator, air in the system, bad thermostat, bad water pump).

People sell piece of ---- fans that flow zilch.

a nice fan will reduce overheating chances by a lot actually... even if it has no air source, the fan PULLS the heat out and thats where the heat exchange occurs... my inercooler is 100% blocking my radiaor because of its angle but my 2 14" fans are doin the job... want more air? put a pusher fan on the front, and a puller fan on the back, done.

As for another solution for heat, if you don't have AC then block off the area besides the rad. If you do have AC, you can still do so, but make it more of a funnel. You also should run a taller, thinner fmic, since air will be traveling a bit faster into the rad if it has to deal with 1" less fmic.
