That's a 24x12x3 core on an ED. It'll fit, but barely. If mine was 3 inches shorter, it wouldn't hang below the bumper but there's still no way you're running rebar in the bumper, at least on an ED.

best intercooler from ebay is a treadstone $199 same core as spearco bar and plate, I bought one from VECCO.NET or threadstone performance, I think its the same guy, I also bought my aluminum ic piping from him.
I have the 34x10.5x4 with 2.2" in and out on my EG and I had to cut 90% of the bumper support off. here is a pic

Don't buy a tall intercooler if you don't need one. You are just going to make it more difficult to get air into your engine bay. 30x6x3" FMICs are normally quite efficient up to 350-400whp. Plus with the shorter intercoolers you don't need to make any mods. Just mount and go.
