255lph or 190lph, HELP!

alright. ill be running a 94 f22b2 accord w/ 450 injectors, t25, msd 6btm and the afc hack.
i was planning on getting the 255lph walbro, but a dsm friend said itd be overkill and to just get the 190lph.

my question, would that suffice for my goal of at least 8psi now and about 12-15 psi later? any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Er....there is no way you can say that pump is good for such and such psi. There are way too many variables. I'd like to see it flow enough fuel for 15 psi on a T4. Psi has nothing to do with it.

Just get the 255. It's not like it's going to hurt anything. Besides, when you replace a part that you probably won't ever have to replace again like a fuel pump, you should buy the best you can find. That's like going downtown looking for a hooker and you find a good clean disease free one for $50, but another one comes up with herpes all over her lips and she only wants $40. Which one would you go for? I'm sure you would regret getting the herpe bitch. :-\

since we're talking about pumps I got the WALBRO 255 GSS342 pump and i was just wondering if i need to make any adjustments to the fuel pressure or is it ok to run the stock stuff with the 450cc and the hack?

I say keep the stock pressure and if it isn't enough, then up the pressure; but you should be fine with stock pressure and AFC hack.

Everyone has had sucess except for me with the AFC settings on the forum. Every car is different but I am sure you'll be fine with stock fuel pressure.

As for fuel pumps, get the 255lph. Your car will only use the amount of gas it needs and return the rest of it back to the tank. You could have a 1000 lph fuel pump and your car would run the same because the bigger fuel pump only means that you will never have fuel starvation.

Do it right the first time and you'll never have to worry about it again. ;)
