ok, I have a dsm t25 right now, 170whp, and seeing how its the same flanges and all, just a little different charge pipes, I want to upgrade to the 14b, my hopes are for 200whp using turbo edit or überdata, are my hopes within range, or and I too hopeful?

 

im no expert but here goes...yes..with turbo edit or uber you should be able to reach that with no prob...but then again what condition is your block in? or is it built already? if you have a z6 or y8 im assuming that 10 psi should reach that..properly tuned of course...

if i remember reading this somewhere i think it was an old super streetmag from like 2001. it said something about 1 lb of boost was like 10 hp ( again i never said it was accurate ) so go with that..and ill look for that article...and of course proper tuning ..

 

yes i was planning on running 10psi, the block is stock z6, nothing special, it has only been boosted for about 3 months now on 9psi with the t25, its fun, but I can't keep up with the turbo talons and elipses, I also want something that will bring me in the 14.5 range or lower. I'm probably in the 15s now (i'm in desperate need of new tires). I did just replace the headgasket and had the head checks and is all good.

 

14.5 @ 9psi?? ouch...what kind of car? I'm assuming a 2-4dr civic that is atleast 2500lbs

 

14b will get you to 200 no problem.. Just get some good tuning done at the same time.

 

2 door stock are 2450lbs, with me in it, full tank of gas and some speakers, its probably a good 2700lbs. My car is more for show than go, but I still want to be able to hold my own when I need to.
