Default 200hp D16y7 Setup. What will it take?

I am looking to run a turbo setup on my d16y7. I know it's a bad motor to start, but what do I need to get 200hp or so or is it even a realistic goal? I am considering running a afc hack with 450's at around 10psi. Do you think that will get there? I'll up the fuel pump and all that good stuff. Can 10psi be run with a hack for management or is there a safer option without dropping a fortune on a standalone or something. Thanks for your replies.

the d16y7 is a good engine to run boost because its not vtec and wont overheat as much because theres no valve overlap.

u can run 200hp with a vafc at 10 psi easily.

So is a 200hp d16y7 really an option without building the junk out of the bottom end? Will teh afc hack with 450's get me to 200hp on stock motor? And is 200 safe to run if managed well on stock internals.

overlap doesnt cause heat on na cars.

it does make more heat than non overlaping vlaves on turbo cars.

it happens when the tb is closed and the valve openings create a vacuum that may suck the gases back in the other way.
