Default 2000 v6 mustang turbo build

Hey everyone, my names Chris and I'm building up my v6 mustang for turbo. I realise this is mainly a honda website but I love the custom stuff going on here so I'm going to share mine. I've been visiting this site frequently getting ideas and checking out new turbo'd rides.

The plan is to keep it under 2,000$ at 10psi (later on I might build the motor for 12-15psi or higher, haven't decided yet)

2000 Ford Mustang 3.8L with a 5spd manual trans

Current mods:
3.73 gears/tloc - 350$
Cold air intake - 100$
Underdrive Pulley - 170$
Partial Exhaust - 200$
Dropped - 100$

Total: $920

I currently have MOST of the kit pieced together which includes:

t3/t4 69trim .63A/R Turbo - 200$
32x12x3 Front Mount Intercooler - 130$
Tial 38MM wastegate - 80$
3.6psi Spring - 40$ (Have the 8psi one too, came with WG)
SCT2 Tuner - 400$ (Bought from VMP Tuning, also going to buy the temp tunes from there)
1g DSM BOV (temp) - Free (may not be using at all)

Total: $850

Appearance:

Mach1 Grille Delete - 80$
03 Cobra front bumper, Fender, Fender Emblems and Paint - About 350$
Projector Headlights - 170$
Black Bumper inserts - 20$
Red neon lighting (interior) - 60$
Dual Gauge pod - 60$ (Buying cobalt gauges [boost and wideband o2]
Chicagoland Mustang Club stickers - 15$
Window Tint 20/5% - 200$
Moved back spoiler - free
Cut antenna - free
Tinted third brakelight - free

Total: $955

Soon I will be purchasing the following:

310lb Fuel Pump, Cobra MAF/Injectors, Electric Boost Controller. and all the necessary piping to fit it all together.

For the manifolds I'm going to make them from ground up.

I will try to keep you all updated as frequently as possible.

And here is a couple pics of the car

Thanks for checking it out.

Dont the 3800's have head gasket problems/

Might want to add metal head gaskets and ARP head studs to that list.

Goals are 350rwhp under 15psi

Nah, the 3.8's with the headgasket were the pre99 models.

Cool. I was reading and saw 69 trim and thought "WOW, that's a big inducer..." especially for a .63 turbine; which I think MAY limit your overall power output. That wheel is huge! Thank you for the pic. What turbo is it?

I bought it on ebay, it's remanufactured. Spins freely, no shaftplay nothing..

It's got the dual fins as well

It's perfect for what I'm looking for since It's going to be a street car, not a trailer queen.
