CAST IRON EXHAUST CUT OUT with remote cable MRG 5424:eBay Motors (item 140328250065 end time Jun-28-09 19:00:00 PDT)
well i guess wrong spot to post but hell, just wonderign if this style works good ? |
i swear your like a lost puppy. you ask the stupidest questions. will it work? well ---- i bet i could get a t6 dumptruck turbo on a d16 but just because i can make it fit doesnt mean its right but hell this is HMT. ANY exhaust cutout will work its like ----- it all works just sometimes some is better than others if i spent 300$ on an e-cutout it would pry work better than tossing an old throttle body on the end of my open header but then again i am not one to judge
well the wuestions was if anyone used it smart ass lol,
as ithe cast iron ans a littel throtel plateso i wasent sure how presise it is, but ok thanks for info. |
haha play nice kids, but car parts go like this, "you get what you pay for" no matter what!
how precise does it need to be either it is open or closed how can it not work?
THANK YOU!!!!!! see turbof22a we can get along great ;-)
Wow ok u win u win hmt finest lol
what i mean is if u had one of these how bad and does it leak ? , does it get clogged up and not open ? but whatever man lol |
i am under the impression that if it is made from cast iron, what would you need to weld it to the exhaust? can you even weld the cast iron to mild steel or stainless? it may have to be "bronze rod" gas welded to the exhaust. or it may not work.
This is HMT, don't ---- around with pre-made stuff.
http://www.***********.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=33804 I guess they don't allow links to other forums. Guy uses a throttle body and makes his own boost controlled cut out. |
i throttle body????? really..... hmmmm that might even work really well.... i wonder how it would hold up to the heat of the exhaust.... i would have liked to see the build though...
lolol
cant see it
link doesnt work, use a emt cutout! $250 for a proper one is the best bet
