2 intercoolers?

I have 2 questions is it possible to use 2 intercoolers on a turbo set up. My turbo kit came with 1. i have no bought a FMIC. Just wandering is it worth hooking up the 2.

THanks

I wouldn't think it would be worth it..

Just get one good one.

During the boost travel from your turbo to you're going to loose pressure. This is on any turbo setup. Even without leaks. Normally it's one to two psi.

You can test this by measuring pressure at the turbo, and at the intake manifold, it'll be different. That's why they say locate your boost gauge line off of the intake manifold so you know exactly what your engine is taking in.

Anyway, my point is, the addition of another intercooler increases the possibility for lost boost. Just get one good intercooler.

yeah, you'll most likely be losing a lil boost, as well as having more turbo lag...

but a cooler intake charge nonetheless!
