Default 2.5" charge pipes

I have 2.5" charge pipes from my turbo to my intercooler and from the intercooler to the TB. I figured 2.5" all the way would flow like crazy, but is there a downside to having 2.5" from the turbo to the intercooler? I see most people on here (and turbonetics turbo kits) run 2" or 2.25" from the turbo to the intercooler.

I have 2.5 inch charge piping all the way around... worked out pretty well I thought.

smaller pipe = less volume for the air to fill = boost reaches the t.b. faster. i'm using 2" all the way around, but it won't make too much of a difference, you'll be fine.

Cool thanks guys. When I bought my pipes, I figured the larger pipes would flow better. Probably won't make a difference.
