.60/.63 does not mean T3/T4. The .60 and .63 are A/R numbers which are the housings for a design of Garrett T3's. The .60/.63 was commonly found on a Ford Thunderbird or SVO in the late 80's. The .60 A/R housing has a 60 trim wheel and the turbine in the .63 A/R housing is the same T3 turbine that would also be in a .48 housing. T3 turbines are T3 turbines.

As for the T25, there are options and very few have compressor maps or know the trim of the T25 that they have. I have the largest T25 made sitting right in front of me which has a .80 A/R compressor housing with a 70 trim compressor wheel. The turbine is a 62 trim and sits in a .68 A/R exhaust housing. The standard T3 in the .60/.63 A/R spec has a 68 trim turbine with a 60 trim compressor wheel. The housings are obviously .60 and .63 and is capable of 35 lbs/min max. The T25 that I am referring to is capable of 32 lbs/min which isn't far off. Not all turbos are created equal and not all people that tell you that brand A is better than brand B know what they're talking about.

Chances are he doesn't have the uber rare monster T25 you were blessed with. ::) This is HomeMadeTurbo not HomeMadeRocketScience where we calculate wind velocity and measure material density while considering ambient temperature to configure the equation of the circumference of the inner most logical calculation. ::) ------- geek.....

Sean88Accord comes to mind......or Quadnie. :1

Well I don't.....so ---- off. :P

So where does this monster T25 come from? What cars did they come in? I'm guessing this isn't a junkyard turbo? Chances are you're the only person on this site who has ever seen one. :1
