14b and t25
does the 14b have the same exhaust housing as the t25? also, are the oil and water lines the same? i pretty much want to switch out my t25 for a 14b without changing anything.

Re:14b and t25
is a 14b much bigger than a t25?

I would rather have a 14b than a t25 anyday. heh.

Re:14b and t25
before i hit 3000 rpm im at 13 psi, by the time i get to 7 im at about 11 psi, im wondering if using a 14b would keep me closer to 13 all the way to redline. anyone with any experience?

Re:14b and t25
from what ive heard the 14b holds boost all the way to redline where as the t25 dies off.

Re:14b and t25

Re:14b and t25
the 14b flows significantly more than a t25. they share the EXACT same exhaust flange, however i do believe the actual exhaust housing on a t25 is smaller than on a 14b. if you put a t25 and 14b next to each other, the 14b looks about double the size of the t25. quite a difference. i dont know about your guys problems, but the t25 on my GSX holds 18psi in third gear right to redline from as soon as it spools until i shift...i do believe that the feed inlet on the t25 and 14b's are the same. if the t25's oil feed takes a 12mm x 1.25 pitch, than it's the same as a 14b.
PS, all td05h's share the same exhaust housing flange. so you could swap out your t25 for a big 16g if you wanted to :D |
