Re:14b specs...???
well a 14B is basicly a TDO5, there found on 1st gen DSM's. they use the standard t3 mitsubishi flange as in the T25, 16G, 18G.....
it's not realy a good choice to make 300 whp on this turbo, the 14B spools pretty quickly, but dosent have to much up top that your b16 will need. i would look for something bigger like a t3 super 60 or t3/t4 style turbo's

Re:14b specs...???
Actually, the 14b found on the early Mitsu 5 speeds uses a different flange than the T3 or T25. It's a square flange with a 2" round hole in the middle.
It flows 420 cfm @ 15psi. Or about 100 cfm less than a 16g, 130 less than a super 16g.
For 300 hp look into a T3T4 or a super 16g.

Re:14b specs...???
I drove a Talon TSi that had a "Big 16G" and it pulled pretty good and spooled at about 3.5K. IS this the turbo you are refering to with the Super 16g? I was actually thinking about getting a T3/TO4E. I'm looking for a .48/.60 ar. I want quick spool but the ability to make powerup top as well.
IT would be very nice to have full boost by 4.5-5K RPM....
any other suggestions?

Big 16g = Super 16g
Don't remember where I picked up that name for it. I think Hahn calls it a "Super".
Yes, that's the one I'm talking about. Good 'til about 350 hp on a Mitsu 4G63. With supporting mods. Then you'll need a 20g. More lag but more boost.
Or go with the Garrett T3T4. Alot of guys here seem to be having good results with them.
14b= 1st gen Eclipse 5 speed
13g= 1st gen Eclipse auto (like a 2nd gen Mitsu T25...small)
