Re:14b or smaller?

a 14b can blow your motor any turbo can blow ur motor if u crank it high enough for the most part.. just make sure you have good tuning. a 14b will be fine in ur setup. If you got dough, get the T3 .48/.42 or higher to get more "UMPH"

true but i hear the stock boost is around8-9 in a 14b turbo is that too much for a d series on stock internals and rods

Re:14b or smaller?

8-9 psi is perfect (WITH GOOD TUNING) any less than that your wasting your time. My d is runing 9.5lbs with a t25 dsm it comes on real early, almost too early if it had more lag it would be more drivable. I also have no exhaust or air filter maybe a little restriction would help. A 14b is ideal for your set up, but if you do internals and want big boost it will be to small. Good luck. ;)
