14b Rotating/CLocking

Finally got the Compressor side off, had to actually use a wedge/chisel kinda thing.

What's this "clocking" thing though? I can't find any subjects on it really and before I officially put the turbo back together, I want to make sure that everything is fine. What do I have to do to clock it? Or can i just turn it the way I need it to face and put it back together?

i have a td05, i never knew we could clock them. i just bought the flange with the 90 degree pipe then run the pipe down to the intercooler.

From what I have seen in the Turbo Project page, you have to keep it the way it is pointing up and get it routed 180 back down.
Has anyone tried using one bolt for the wastegate on that hole by the compressor outlet?

i've ran into a problem too. i clocked my 14b and since the stock actuator wouldn't bolt up i used a carb spring for boost. i can't seem to get over 5psi with the spring. so i don't know what im gonna do. maybe try to ghetto rig an actuator on there or something

remember to kill the locating pin if need be

and try a different spring if the one you have won't work...even though that's horrrribly inefficent.
