14b question

i have a 95 dx coupe with a d16z6 with a built block-ealge H beams with aries pistons and a golden eagle block guard, stock head,skunk2 pro series i/m stock t.b,dsm 450's and a basic dsm turbo setup. my question is will the 450s be good for 18-20 psi on the 14b or will they lean out? also can i run my 3 bar map to the vacume port for the charcoal can or should i just get the map adapter?

all postive info is appreciated

we're running a 16b with 450's on a 2 liter dsm, and we don't lean out.
No special mapping either.

how much you running on them though? are you saying they should be fine for 18-20?

iceracerdude 06-05-2009 12:23 AM

We like to stay at 15-16 but yes, we've been to 20, no problem.

ok thanks for the info sir O0

Remember, this is on our stock dsm ecu. The injectors will flow enough, If your mapping will keep up.

any manifold vacuum hookup should be fine for your map. doesn't matter where it goes so long as it is downstream of the throttle body

I think you might be maxing out the efficency of that little turbo at 20psi. I did the same thing with mine. You'll have more than enough fuel...

20 psi on a 14b is close to maxing it just like D16 Power said

Thanks. Ya i knew i was maxing my out at the time but i needed to squeeze more boost out to show up those b series guys..
