13.1 @ 108mph on street tires, what do you think?

I just came back from the track and I did a 13.1 et @ 108.63mph. The car can't launch to save its life. I have to granny shift out of the hole until the middle of 3rd gear. My 60ft was 2.14. I was beaten every time because I was trying new and different ways in trying to drive the car. I can't go half throttle until 3rd gear and can't go full throttle until the top of 3rd gear and it spins to all hell when I do.

I am only running 10psi on a stock LS motor. This was all done on street tires and an open diff.

What do you think.

I guess its possible but I really doubt it, need to see a video on that to believe it. I have a pretty built B16 with a T3/T4 fully tuned with hondata and I'm not running those times. Sure this isn't your 8th mile times? LOL, JK man I guess its possible though. Hope you have a wrecker ready when it blows up though

what's so hard to believe about a 13.1 on 10 psi on a b18? especially if it's in a crx. why would he blow up an ls motor on a measley 10 psi??

Re:13.1 @ 108mph on street tires, what do you think?

Dude, I have fully gutted the car past the normal take the seat out action and it weighed in at 1780lbs at a nearby truckstop. T3/T4B 60trim 60AR turbo with a huge spearco intercooler and all necessary fuel system upgrades with a SAFC2 for fuel management.

Many people don't believe how you can run a shitty et and big mph. Its called NO TRACTION!!! It is the reverse of 8 sec Nova's running an 11.0 et at 70mph. For them they blast off the line and then shut it down before the cross the finish line. In my case I am crusing half way up the track and then hitting it.

Thats not hard to believe at all. Also you have to keep in mind the elevation lvls where its at, cause that does make a diff. Also a stock b16 in a 4g hatch with 10 PSI is around the 12 mark if not lower.(with slicks)

Those are great times, and last year I ran 13.71 @108mph on 9psi on my stock ls with a t3t4 to4b housing 57 trim and a .63ar with a stage3 wheel. My 60ft was 2.4, Oh and it was in a 96coupe (heavy as balls) so he has a lighter car at more psi and beter driving= 13.1

nice times man! What's yor setup? Have to try running it with slicks? I think you should have any power to get it down in the 12's ;)

I ran a 12.946 @ 112.87 on street tires with an open diff in a GSR. Your times are right around the breaking point. High 12's low 13's is usually where ---- starts blowing apart. My friend threw a rod in his GSR on 10psi running a 13.0 @ 110. So be careful
