Re: 12 lbs stock d16z6
I always read about people running like 12psi. If everything else is in good condition; compression, oil pressure, head, etc. it should as long as you don't get on it like every time you drive, all the time.

the most i've seen a stock D take as a daily driver is 230 whp on a mustang dyno

Re: 12 lbs stock d16z6
BBK is/was running 12lbs on a stock D16Z6 and made 230whp and 208wtq. He also did 12.6sec in the 1/4 mile. How is that for encouragement?
NB: You need the right combination of parts, and GOOD TUNING. |
Re: 12 lbs stock d16z6
12 psi on WHAT TURBO?
|
Re: 12 lbs stock d16z6
^ thank you.
if the turbo is very small, 12 psi isnt that much. if you are running like a huge diesel turbo at 12psi, that is much different. matt |
Re: 12 lbs stock d16z6
Even at that BBKA was 12psi on the .63/.60. I'm only 10.5 on the little .42/.48 and nervous.

depends on your tune, how you drive, etc. I ran 13 psi on a y7 for a long ass time with no probs
