alright i need pistons and these are for sale for 165
11.5:1 compression on a d16z6 will be a bitch to tune with boost but i need new pistons do i buy or not |

I wouldn't. It's gonna cost you a whole lot more when that ---- blows up, so use stock, or spring for the ones you want/need

If they can turbocharge a type R or a celica gts or the type s which have ratios in the11's why not youres. Buuuut make sure you tune the ---- out of it . You getting the rods I hope so . BUt you wont be able to run much boost. In my opinion

yeah, that's crazy high c/r. just fork out the extra loot to get some lower c/r pistons instead of jumping on the first good deal you see, i've made this mistake a lot :P

hmmm with that compression ratio and good tuning, a big turbo you could hit 250 hp at low boost ... 8-9 psi
I would do it though if I got a good deal on pistons and rod's |

isnt the stock z6 headgasket a 3 layer one? i think i remember counting 3 layers |
