So...that's basicly a H1C/H1E hybrid now? IIRC the 8-blade wheel is the H1E/older-HX40 ~58mm jobber. I'd like to ask you what your spool time is now. The VGT turbo I got is basicly a 60mm 7-blade HX40 with a variable HX35 hotside. I know your 'old' H1C hit around 25psi around 6k, and this will help me figure out my spool times better.
BTW for $203 for a universal joint I'll just bang it with a hammer, then drink my $103 in beer while getting $100 in lap-dances. That's probably just a typical universal joint welded on, which is all of $50 for a uber-precision teflon-lined high deflection angle universal. I think I might make one though, easier than other ---- I've done this week.

Its not a hybrid at all.
Its just a different H1C. All I did was swap my exhaust housing onto it because it had my V-Band welded on to it already to match my downpipe.
I dont think it will spool much different at all. Maybe a few hundred rpm later.
