08 Subaru Impreza 2.0 rx Non-Turbo
 

Hey guys i just bought an 08 Subaru Impreza 2.0 rx with a 10.5 C/R i know its high , i plan on turbo'in it so id appreciate any info on turboín Sub's , i was planing on getting the Wrx but they aint comming around where i live and theres no sti's or eveo's , so if any1 turbo'd a subaru plz help me out with wat id need 2 get and from where i can order it and is it safe to turbo the stock engine . thanx again guys for the help

No it's not safe or even possible to turbo that motor. The only safe thing to do would be for you to get a rope.


Should be able to figure out what to do with it.

It's actually impossible to safely turbo any car that didn't come turbo from the factory. I know people claim you can do it yourself but no car has ever ran correctly with a non OEM turbo set-up installed. You should look into an i-DEI set-up as it's really cheap and very easy to do and provides near limitless power with no added components except some 2" piping.

so wats the good power gains with N/A parts for this car if i cant turbo it , and if i plan to turbo it wat u recomend changin b4 turboin this engine ?

Change nothing except where your exhaust manifold dumps. Instead of wasting those exhaust gases out your tailpipe you can take advantage of them and run a true i-DEI set-up. Just cut your intermediate pipe off and route 2" exhaust piping from your exhaust ports back into your intake ports. That way all the wasted exhaust gases are forced directly into your motor. That's true forced induction. Turbos use exhaust gases too, but i-DEI is like a turbo on crack. You need no additional tuning except maybe a 46:1 FMU if you want it to be perfect. Do a Google search about the hot ---- i-DEI (intercooled Direct Exhaust Injection) set-up and you'll be making in the 500whp range safely. Even with your baller ass high compression.

I see u guys enjoy ------- around with ppl more then helping them out !!!!! , so i guess non of u guys can give any good info :3 , and crx2211 i have turbo'd cars b4 , just never did a subaru b4 , so no need for the load of crap ur sayin , i aint new to moddín , but thanx for prank !!

if you've done a turbo car before, then you know whether or not a car can be turbo'd. sell your car, buy a '05 or earlier wrx for less than $15kusd, and be done. i know a clean as ---- '05 wrx wagon in perfect condition
