-=Bmc RACING=- Turbo Manifolds

wassup guys, this James from bmc racing, well i was just wondering what yall think i should price my EQUAL LENGTH turbo manifolds at??? i currently have 2 designs and am working on more, for d and b series engines, ne turbo. My current two designs will look almost identical to www.full-race.com's "FULL RACE PROSTREET MANIFOLD" and "FULL RACE PRORACE MANIFOLD" pics are here http://full-race.com/pd_manifolds.html . I was thinking about 350$ plus shipping, all my manifolds will be made of schedule 40 1.5''id size, mild steal. Stainless steel will cost about 700$. they arnt finished yet but will be soon. well please get back on yalls ideas of what they should cost, and keep checking back to see my progress on them.

good price definitely, but not too many big spenders here, what about just some tubular mani, better than a log, but not quite full race ;)

Re:-=Bmc RACING=- Turbo Manifolds

I would definately take one of those full race manifolds off ur hands :o

10 dollars and a used condom for one

Re:-=Bmc RACING=- Turbo Manifolds

Man full race really did set the standard in manifolds. It seems like everybody is whoring their design. Pretty soon every manifold will look like Full-Race's, kinda like what happened with body kits.

Why don't you come up with a new design and set yourself apart from everybody else?

Re:-=Bmc RACING=- Turbo Manifolds

these manifolds i am working on dont look exactly like full-races manifolds. actually to tell the truth they wont look at all like them if you were to compare them side by side, but they should look better and function better, and cost less, and everything else nice ;) i am going out of town this weekend so nuthing will get done then, but i should have them up and going by the end of next week.

I wanted to know the progress on these manifolds. Is it possible for you to make a manifold or plate that will clear the a/c? I seen others ask but I havent seen a relpy. 89hb civic d16a6. Also this guy made his own plate to clear a/c, if this will hepl any... http://hometown.aol.com/scttydb411/hmtproject.html
also its a T3(not sure exactly which, smaller than a .60 trim). I would buy either if this is possible

do you think you can make a quick demo manifold and post the pics so we have an idea of what they are acutally look like...i'm really intersted in one for a d motor...thanks

man with a plan, ill take one off of your hands once there done. If the pro-street and pro-race are both $350+shipping then what is the benefit from buying one then the other? Ill need the manifold to bolt up without using a plate to a gt28rs turbo.

will these manifolds clear ac? Just wondering i like my ac but i crave more power.

lo hi
1k -47 -50
2k -46 -50
3k -46 -48
3.5k -46 -49
4k -46 -50
5k -46 -50
6k -46 -50
6.5k -46 -50
And that was tuned with a WB? Damn, that's crazy. Good thing you have a disclaimer. :-\

at 4K he's actually taking out more fuel than what is ran with a stock Honda with 240cc injectors ::) If you don't wire up those WB02's right they won't give you accurate readings. That motor isn't going to last too much longer

Actually Iceman came out with that manifold in their turbokit like almost 5 years ago ;) Way before full-race was even around...

www.lovefab.com is another FR ripoff.. But Cody actually offers realistic prices...

thats a flows like ass hf manifold and ghetto adaptor plate on a tiny ihi.

these are equal length full race ones, the turbo that your gonna put on these(or at least should) will prob take up the ac's space.

you could custom make one that places the turbo to the left or way out from the block and run a 1/2rad. its just easier buy one of these premade, ditch ac and go.

on the one i have now i had to cut hood, ditch ac, get 1/2 rad and cut a lot of metal out to move the rad to the left.

I was asking if he had/could make a plate or manifold that could clear a/c with my particular setup. Basically Im asking him to make me one and Ill put down a deposit.

How do you figure?

Looks like a very typical AFC hack setup to me.

Eesh sorry about that. My brain was saying "36 - 40". I'm getting old...

My setup is 40 across the board with no problems so far. Wouldn't dream of going that lean though.

Reddy 02-23-2004 06:29 PM

Re:-=Bmc RACING=- Turbo Manifolds

-50 at redline WOT is typical? I'm not even at -40 at an idle. He's not even adding any fuel its -50 at idle and -50 at full boost.

Just wondering, will you be making these with both D-series and Bs-series in mind, and also how much of a difference is stainless from mild?

Dr.Boost 02-24-2004 06:52 AM

Re:-=Bmc RACING=- Turbo Manifolds

$350 Mild
$700 SS
