needs flanges (i was thinking i'd just weld it to the head using the new alu-stainless tig rods they came out with, but that's a bit permanent) and sandblast.

Looks the same as the one that we made for my partners b16. Nice Job. Ah go straight to the head!!! No warping flanges.

Ill give you a flange 1/2 off, just dont weld that directly to the head, lol.

Yah i sorta took jeff's reverse ramhorn he made for the Kia, but since i built this POS from memory, then checked out jeff's, it's a little different.

PS the welds suck, i wanted to cheet and do just one pass; shoulda done a base fusion pass, then a final pass with filler, back purging the whole thing on both passes... next time i guess.

Oh i used Sch.10 1.5" weld els and piping, all 304 ss.
Flanges are just not on yet, i got em, but thanks anyway

ANNNNDDD, i'm serious about the ALu stainless rod..... :l

Re: yet another manifold...

thats sweet looking manifold. but how are you sure its going to fit the flange by welding it without the flange? did you use a gasket to get it lined up?

h22g2integra 08-24-2006 11:47 AM

Re: yet another manifold...

I think you should cut it up and start over it sucks ;D JK. When you installing that on Peters car then? I think you should grind the welds and start over Hacky Mchackerson...................

Its pretty sweet in person i must say hes getting better at it thats for sure....................

That looks darn good, hope when i get my tig i can do that one day,

say how close are those runners to being equal length?

Re: yet another manifold...UPDATE MORE PICS

thats better wastegate placement than ive seen in a long time. Notice how the exhaust flow merges off to the wastegate instead of either making a 90* or 180* turn to go out the wastegate as in most other manifolds. Pretty good design and he will get more power with less creep then most other manifolds also.
