It's still HMT style, just some people actually take a bit of pride in their work. Most HMT builds are guys with gasless migs that have never welded before and don't give a ---- what it looks like. There is a BIG difference, this is still homemade just by someone who knows what they are doing.
Nice job so far keep us updated, I'll hopefully be looking at doing something simular with my talon over the winter. Did you try to keep the runners perfectly equal length or just close to whatever worked out. If you tried keeping them perfectly equal how much of a headache was that?
