Where to get welding rods
 

Just wondering where everyone gets their tig welding rods. There is a local welding supply here but I would rather not deal with them. My main issue with them is they are only open short hours during the week, but I have other issues with them. I searched google but there were so many places I was hoping there were some people that got good prices and good service from somewhere.

two local supply houses or airgas if they dont have what i want <grrrr> airgas sucks. done linde gas supply before, didn't like that part of town. bad nogz down there

My local shop was great. I could beat them up on prices. Now they are owned by Airgas but will still deal a bit. I have bought 10lbs boxes from www.weldingdepot.com

I looked at welding depot. The prices look good. Hopefully their shipping is quick.

I use a small local shop, not sure if prices are good compared to other places but the service is great so I stick with them.

Ebay... you just have to wait for it.

weldingdepot. Takes a couple of days. Local can't compete with the prices
