+1 for brazing
Unless you can find some ungodly strong glue. Brazing is going to be stronger than epoxy (JB).
You can soldier brass to aluminum... But brazing is still stronger.

Brazing is definetly stronger, but soldering greatly reduces the risk of melting parts.

ive read on wikipedia that the main difference between brazing and soldering is just the temperature. brazing requires temperatures over 800F while soldering requires temperatures under 800F, something along those lines atleast. anyways, i found a place that sells aluminum 'soldering' rods that have a working temperature of 750F, would this be sufficient for the task at hand?

would the solder be able to hold upwards of 15PSI?

I'll put it to you this way, home water pressure is 45-90 PSI and copper pipes are held together with solder.

maybe 80 at the feed line to the house but not in side ---- they only have to test the systems in the house to 45 psi

aluminum has a very high melting point. the hard thing about messing with aluminum is the window of melting and blowing through is very small

tap bigger holes, screw in a peice of metal, drill and tap it again, use teflon tape :P
