Welding Bench
I got off work really early today so i thought that i would try to make something with my welder instead of just ------- around with it i used
4' X 2' 3/8" steel plate for the top
3" channel for the bottom for a frame
and 1 1/4" square tubbing for the legs
It turned out alot better then i thought it would at first i thought that the legs were going to be weak and not hold but i can stand it on its side and put all my weight at the end of the legs so they should hold i way close to 200 LBs so i think i did alright for my first real project.
The hole thing cost me about $200 for all the steel.
Im open to peoples opinions on how i can improve.

That and instead of your triangle bracing.... you should have put tubing in between the legs about 5 inches off the ground. That way a broom can sweep under it and you can place your feet on it if you need a resting spot.
