Weld Els and Wire welder?
 

I am making a manifold obviously, This may be a newfag question but how well do weldels take to a wire feed welder? I can weld pretty good on, ummm, "normal" stuff with a wire feed, but for some reason in my mind all the weldel manifolds I see look like they were done with a tig. I could use my dads big ass Tig welder, but I am crap at it currently. Any insight on this?

yeah itll work fine you have to use the appropriate wire, same as the base metal 304 or 306 get 304 wire, 316 base get 316 wire, Search is your friend

you need a tri mix gas, argon co2 nitrogen, or helium argon o2 ect in specific volumes according to the transfer. id say 75%argon,23%co2, 2% helium probably best for exhaust with light amp short circut mig
