Default Wastegate questions

Well its that time finally... I have a SS auto crap "twisted ram" manifold with a 38mm wastegate flange. I was wondering..I know that this is a main problem with the SSAC manifolds..the wastegate flange falling off. So I was thinking. Should I block off that wastegate flange, and use an internal W/g with swing valve WITH the 2.5" v band outlet..because my car isn't going to see a ton of boost probably only 15 psi max. And I wanted to make my own 2.5" to 3" 90 degree bend down dumpipe to switch out at the track. I already have the downpipe but its not a big deal to just cut off the 5 bolt flange and weld on the 2.5 v band flange. So what are your guys thoughts on that..and..
Has anyone used the SSAC V band kits? are they ok to use or should I go somewhere else?

ok ------ listen up. can you weld? if you can then just reinforce the welds and you should be fine. i have never had one but i have seen quite a few ssautoshit manifolds that were re-welded and braced work just fine
