Twin Supercharged Miata Build (56K Beware)
That exhaust looks like it was oxy-act welded by a toddler. I'm pissed that you (OP) threw in the towl on a unique build.
I hope you die in an accident involving a blender, some hairspray, some ball bearings, an orange chicken sandwich, and a midget.

Yeah I quit. All the stuff I built it sitting in my storage room. Too much work to do and I didn't finish. I just bought a GT3271. Gonna turbo it and enjoy having boost. If I get another miata I'll put the SC stuff on it and finish it. But that car won't be a DD. I want boost now. Got too much money in this car for it to be NA. I could dick around for another year with the SC ---- and finish it, or buy a manifold and turbo this thing over christmas holidays. Going with the later.
Three glasspacks are there to quiet the exhaust. The longer the glasspack, the more it cuts out higher frequencies. The effect they have at reducing higher frequencies is greater and greater for every unit of length you add. That's why I have 3 in line. I guess I'll have to make a video of the exhaust some time. It's pretty damn quiet at idle. and not bad at all WOT.
And Megasquirt FTW! What's wrong with a 250 dollar standalone? Does everything I can ------- think of. Launch control, flat shift, two stage nitrous control, WI control, PWM idle, PID, reading my 36-1 trigger wheel with timing accuracy to 4/32 of a degree, runs my low ohm 550's, runs my WB guage, datalogs, TPS based boost, boost by gear, and on and on.
I welded the exhaust. It's not pretty, it's not perfect. But over 1K miles and it's still holding fine so no complaints.

P.S. Only homos drive miatas. You should get a rainbow colored OCZC sticker.

I bought the car cause it's got a tough ------- motor and it's rear wheel drive. I don't understand all the people that take a car with a weakly built engine in a wrong wheel drive platform and turbo those. That's ------- stupid. Short of building a tire smoking machine, I don't get it. Is it good at anything?

while i am dissapointed that i probably will never see the end result of the twin supercharger build at least you are sticking to boost and you seem to have an idea of whats going on. miata's look like girls cars, but underneath the skin, they can be an awesome car. im not much for v8's in imports, but i hope to be picking one up myself to drop my small block chevy into
